Dog Agility Training
Dashin' Dogs hold weekly dog agility training classes near Shrewsbury, Shropshire. We cater for all levels, from the absolute beginner or the experienced handler with a new dog, through to experienced dogs and handlers.
We also provide Private Lessons for individuals or small groups and can attend as Guest Trainers at your club or training group.
We provide training for all heights of dogs and have experience of handling Small, Medium and Large dogs ourselves and realize that no 2 dogs or handlers are the same and tailor our training accordingly.
There is no requirement for your dog to be a particular breed, but it must be fit, not overweight and above all they must enjoy the sport. Obviously you don't know until you try, but we will advise you to stop if we feel that the dog is under undue pressure, whether it be a fitness aspect or the dog just isn't enjoying the work.
We accept puppies from 10 months old but it doesn't matter if your dog is a few years old as they can still learn and enjoy agility. Your dog must also have basic obedience, requiring at least a wait in any position and most importantly to come when called to enable training off-lead.
