Dog Agility Shows

There are many agility shows held across the UK (as well as worldwide) throughout the year, though the main competing season runs from the beginning of April through to the end of September.  There is also the occasional day show held in various areas in the UK over the winter months which are held indoors at equestrian centres.

The majority of agility shows are KC shows (licence and regulated by The Kennel Club) but there are also a lot more Independent shows nowadays which are generally smaller, more laid back and can be great for those new to competing.  These shows are generally run under various differing rules and progression systems.

Dashin' Dogs hold two KC shows and one Independent show a year at a venue just south of Chester.  For further information about our shows, please use the link above or to the right.

If you wish to compete at agility shows there are a few things you need to do first (see our Competing pages), but most importantly you and your dog need to be trained how to do agility as you will not be able to do it otherwise.

All agility shows must be entered beforehand, by the closing date stated on the show's schedule and on the show's official entry form - you cannot just turn up on the day and 'have a go'. Good websites for downloading schedules and entry forms are:

Dashin Dogs are also now providing a show processing service including online entries. This service will be available for all of our shows, plus any other shows using our show processing service if they choose to accept online entries.
